Will characters arrive with items they would normally have on them?
Yes. Any item your character would normally carry would be with him upon arrival.
Are the kids required to attend school?
Not at this time, but that may change in the future.
Can they buy/own businesses?
There is currently no money system, but if the character wishes to start a business, then they may do so.
Can they earn money somehow?
Not at this time. Right now they have an id card that can be shown anywhere to get what they need. It works similarly to a college meal plan, there is a preloaded amount on there and at this time it will not run out. A money system may be added in the future, however.
Do the other teens who run the businesses know anything, or are they willing to talk to the kids at all?
They may know something, but if they do, they're not sharing it. They will talk to the trapped kids but they will not talk about who brought them here or why, and are physically incapable of doing so, when they try, they get really tongue tied.
Have the characters regressed back to being physically how they were when they were teenagers? Or is it another form altogether?
The characters are back to exactly like they were as teenagers, with the exception of supernatural beings still being what they are. If your character has gone back to 16 and they were a virgin at that time, they are once again a virgin.
If a character has an implant, say one that prevents pregnancy, would it still be in them or is the body an entirely new one?
It would not still be in them because they are for the most part restored to their teenage selves, so unless the character had this implant when she was that age.
Would the Gods in YC still have the full amount of their powers or would they be in a weakened state?
Because Gods are super powerful, we're going to say that in their teen bodies, they are slightly weaker.
Do the characters still have their powers?
Yes. People would keep their powers in general, and since mentally they're still adults they may even have the same control over them.
What is the policy on characters switching rooms?
It is fine with us, but has to be okayed by all players involved and comment the post so we know to switch them.
Are there cars in YouthCity?
Yes. There are automobiles in YouthCity, same as anywhere and the characters may use one to get around as the city is huge.
Is there any form of government in the city?
Other than the police, at this time, no.
My character is a criminal, can they commit crimes freely?
If they're very very careful about it, maybe. Anyone caught commiting a crime will be dealt with depending on the severity of the crime.
What happens if they try to leave the city/break the boundaries via magic?
They end up back in their room at the Youth Center.
Is there a magic shop in the city stocked with supplies. herbs, spells?
Yes. There is a currently unowned magic shop about six blocks from the Youth Center.
What happens when canon laws crash?
Canon laws apply to that canon only. Buffyverse vampires can be killed with a stake through the heart, but for a Moonlight vampire, that would only paralyze them. Harry Potter magic would not work on other canons, and vice versa.
Does the library contain any books we can think of?
Yes, but as far as other canon's go, we have not made a decision on canon puncturing.
Is Canon Puncturing allowed?
See above.
Can we play more than one character from the same canon?
Yes, but no more than two major characters. Minors on a case by case basis.
Can my character change rooms?
Characters may switch rooms. Characters can not abandon their room mate without having someone else move in. Characters can not take up an unoccupied room.
Can a character live somewhere other than the youth center?
Not at this time.
Can you find everything you'd find in the real world or everything you can find in the fandom world's?
A little of both.
